Terms of Service
Last updated: August 31, 2026
These terms govern use of StatusBridge, a service operated by Chris Castle, Inc. ("we", "us") that connects to your Redtail and/or Wealthbox account and forwards opportunity status changes to a webhook you configure. By connecting a CRM account, you agree to these terms.
The service
StatusBridge periodically checks the opportunities in each CRM account you connect and, when it detects a status change, sends a notification of that change to the destination webhook URL you provide, signed with the shared secret you configure. The service is provided on a best-effort basis: checks run on a schedule (not in real time), and a failed delivery to your webhook is retried on the next scheduled run rather than dropped, but is not guaranteed to succeed or to arrive within any particular time window.
Your account and responsibilities
- You must have the right to connect the Redtail and/or Wealthbox account you provide, and to authorize us to read its opportunity data.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the destination webhook URL and for keeping your shared secret confidential — anyone with your webhook URL and secret can send convincing-looking status-change notifications to your endpoint.
- You must not use the service to violate Redtail's or Wealthbox's own terms of service, or applicable law.
- You're responsible for what your own destination webhook does with the data it receives.
Data handling
How we collect, store, and use data from your connected CRM account is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that status changes will always be detected, delivered, or delivered promptly — Redtail or Wealthbox API changes, outages, or rate limits can all affect delivery.
Limitation of liability
[REPLACE: standard limitation-of-liability language appropriate to your jurisdiction and risk tolerance — e.g. a cap on damages, and exclusion of indirect/consequential damages. This needs a lawyer's input, not a template.]
Termination
You may disconnect a CRM account or stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the service for any account we reasonably believe is being used abusively, fraudulently, or in violation of these terms.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes to these terms, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. [REPLACE: describe how you'll notify existing connected clients of material changes, if at all]
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [REPLACE: state/country of governing law], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
